About the Awards
The four award categories are:

Creativity Award

Leadership Award

Inspiration Award

Innovation Award
Applicants may only put an entry in for one category.

Applicants must demonstrate a level of significant creativity in an area of the arts (e.g. graphic art, computer graphics, modelling (not NZ’s next top model) or sculpting) or has applied creative thinking to solve a problem in their community.

Applicants must be able to qualify for a Bachelors degree and show strong leadership qualities such as the ability to:
- motivate others
- take on significant challenges and meet them
- lead a project in the community, church or at school.

Applicants act in a way that is an inspiration to others, for example:
- making a positive change in their own life or in the lives of others
- learning from their mistakes and overcoming adversity.

This award recognises a young person who has demonstrated innovative thought or action to solve an engineering challenge leading to an improvement in their community, church or school.
