Selection Process
1/ Applications are open from 16 May and close 4 July 2011 – applicants are expected to fill in the entry form online or contact pacificyouthawards@mpia.govt.nz for a word document application
2/ Finalists will be contacted in July 2011 for an interview.
3/ The selection panel will make a decision based on the written applications, the interview with the applicants and reference checks.
4/ Finalists will be notified in August and the Award winner from each category will be invited to the Awards Ceremony.
5/ The awards ceremony will take place in Wellington 10 August.
Appraisal of applications by a selection panel
10 July - 30 July 2011
The selection panel will comprise representatives from the four sponsors and two representatives from the Pacific community.
Winners announced
Winners will be notified 5 August 2011 and will be invited to the Awards Ceremony.
